Geography is an intimate, independent local wine bar with an extensive and interesting wine list and with over 50 wines available by the glass. Run by Tunbridge Wells locals, Aubrey and Fleur, the bar has been born from our joint loves of travel and wine. We’re wine enthusiasts rather than experts and you can expect a friendly, relaxed atmosphere plus a wide range of events including wine tastings, book club and our live music ‘Sunday Sessions’. Check out our events page for details.
Located on the High Street, we’re close to the station, the Pantiles and surrounded by great shops and restaurants. Pop in to catch up with friends or family, grab a light lunch, pre/post dinner or theatre drinks, after the daily commute or simply to take time out. It’s also worth remembering that we sell all our wine to take away at a discounted price so if you’d rather enjoy your favourite bottle at home, we can help!
We live in Tunbridge Wells and we want to celebrate and support local. To that end, we are proud to sell the TN Card here, a great loyalty scheme supporting local businesses. We try to always keep people, produce and place central to everything we do, so importantly we champion a range of amazing, award winning local producers including local vineyards, gin distilleries, cheese makers and bakers. Coronavirus Update and Home Deliveries Further to the announcement made by the Government on Friday 20th March, we have closed our doors until further notice. We would like to say a HUGE thank you to all of our customers for supporting us and we can’t wait to see you in the bar again when we are able to open for business once more. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to do what we love and we know these are challenging times for us all.
During this period, we are offering free home delivery for orders of 6 bottles or more, subject to stock, within a 2 mile radius of the bar at a 20% discount off list price. All you have to do is browse our Wine Atlas further down this page, choose your wines and then email us at email@example.com with your order and contact phone number. We will then arrange payment and delivery. Easy!
So stay well and look after each other. We’ll see you soon, Aubrey, Fleur and team

On the last Wednesday of each month, our great mate and book worm Kate Jackson, hosts Book Club at the bar. It’s free to come along to and Kate will be providing copies of each of the books for free to participants thanks to Tunbridge Wells library (subject to availability).
In February we kicked off with Dawn O’Porter’s ‘So Lucky’ and will be chatting about this at our March get together. So if you couldn’t make it but would like to come along in March, get yourself a copy and get reading, we’d love to see you for a glass or two of wine and a good chat about books!
